We collaborated with Aspen Grove Center in Littleton, Colorado, to design and build this 20’ BRBX. This innovative bar is the centerpiece of the BarBox Beer Garden, a new addition to this popular outdoor shopping complex.
The BRBX features a sleek, modular design tailored for high-volume service and an engaging customer experience. Equipped with a 10-tap system, merchandiser refrigerators, and a walk-in cooler, the container bar is designed to serve a wide variety of beverages while seamlessly integrating into the vibrant atmosphere of Aspen Grove Center. With its eye-catching aesthetic and functional layout, the BRBX enhances the beer garden’s appeal as a community gathering space, creating a destination for visitors to relax, enjoy drinks, and socialize.

Steel Frame Modular Kitchen + Shipping Container Bar
THE CHALLENGE
Aspen Skiing Company overhauled Lynn Britt Cabin—a charming mid-mountain lodge at Aspen Snowmass Ski Resort—transforming it into The Cabin, a world-class on-mountain destination that redefined hospitality on Aspen’s largest peak. The goal was to elevate the lodge into a modern luxury experience while preserving its rich historic charm.
As part of the renovation, the project included a brand-new outdoor patio space. While the cabin provided a cozy setting for a leisurely lunch, the patio was designed as a vibrant outdoor venue that could host an energetic après scene. Aspen needed a kitchen and bar solution for the patio and turned to us for help. The units not only had to be durable enough to withstand the harsh Rocky Mountain winters but also had to complement the historic charm of the nearby cabin… all while adhering to the strict code requirements for Aspen and Colorado food & beverage structures.
THE SOLUTION
We collaborated with Aspen Skiing Company to design and build a custom steel frame modular kitchen and a customized version of our 20’ BRBX model (full-service shipping container bar).
A custom steel frame module was selected for the kitchen to accommodate the larger footprint required for a commercial setup. Measuring 20′ x 10′ x 9.5′, the unit provided ample space for a robust commercial hood system, all necessary cooking equipment, and a spacious, comfortable workspace for the staff. A custom parapet was also integrated to seamlessly conceal the mechanical equipment on top of the unit.
For the bar, a modified version of the BRBX model was chosen. Built from a high-cube shipping container (20′ x 8′ x 9.5′), this fully insulated bar includes all the necessary equipment to serve canned drinks and craft cocktails to eager guests. A rooftop deck, accessible by stairs on the back, was added to accommodate a DJ booth and provide panoramic views of the party below.
Both units were clad in reclaimed wood and rusted corrugated metal, ensuring they blended seamlessly with The Cabin’s rustic, Western aesthetic.

ROXBOX designed + built two 20’ BillyBoxes for Carowinds Amusement Park near Charlotte, North Carolina. These full-service, mobile shipping container bars are designed to serve beer on tap, canned and bottled beverages, cocktails, and snacks to park guests year-round. Outfitted with 6-tap systems, full-service equipment, and walk-in coolers, the container bars are designed to serve a wide variety of beverages while seamlessly integrating into the vibrant amusement park atmosphere. Their mobile designs enable the Carowinds team to easily relocate the units within the park to meet demand and enhance special events.
